Day 239: Should I Ask?

It has been suggested that Irregular Choice should, based on the large number of shoes I have purchased from them over the last four years, gift me a pair (or twenty) as a Thank You for my custom and blatant, un-compensated plugging. So I have written a test letter below. Let me know if you think I should send it.

Dear Dan, and all at that most marvellous and colourful of institutions, Irregular Choice,

My name is Charlie (aka list_addict) and I am maybe in your top, say, one hundred money-where-my-mouth-is fans of yours, with a collection of thirty-five pairs of Irregular Choice shoes and boots. See this post for the full list. There were actually more. Two pairs were given to friends because they were too small, three pairs I re-sold on ebay because they didn't fit well for some reason or other (mainly being unable to predict the effect of high arches over the Internet), and one pair was sacrificed ruined when I walked home in them on a stormy night after I lent my sneakers to a drenched colleague who had a whole night shift ahead of her (I loved those pointed-up-toed, kitten-heeled flats, can you make them again?). So all up I'm into you for forty-one pairs. And I talk about them all the time on my blog, on Pinterest, and on my Instagram account. Currently I have a virtual basket sitting up on my desktop with four pairs of A/W 2013 shoes in it: Sparkly Cosmo, Summer Berries, Cheeky Moose and Baby Beauty. And currently there is 'Free International Shipping', which is great with me being all the way over and down and under here in Australia. But I was just thinking, what with the investment made already, and the good publicity for free, whether you might consider helping out any with that basket full of goodies so that it doesn't hurt as much as full retail. Just wondering?

Lots of love,
Charlie

There are lots of dresses this year on the runways. Yay. Many of them are things I can replicate easily with an op-shop trip and a little tweeking. Yay. Lengths are long, styles are loose, patterns are wild. Yay, yay, yay. The good news is we can all be fashionistas along the lines of Valentino, MSGM, and Givenchy (great boots!). Who doesn't love a good dress. Well, the people who don't, but, hey, your prerogative.

  1. That is an interesting look of blending green and blue with B&W. I love blue and green together!

  2. I hope you sent the letter! : ) They'd be fools...FOOLS I say if they turn you down on at least one pair of freebies. Also...you might want to consider adding a little button of Irregular Choice on your sidebar...as even more incentive. They need to know you are their number one online promoter.

I love the colour combo here.

    bisous
